Esper Dream 2: Aratanaru Tatakai is a sequel to Esper Dream for the Famicom Disk System. Mamoru is a young bookworm, he finds out that sinister beings are threatening the world of books. He sets out to restore the books’ worlds.
Esper Dream 2 is a nifty action/rpg by Konami. The five rings of the Book Worlds have been stolen, and it’s up to our ESP-endowed bookworm hero to find them and save the day! The game itself is fairly neat. You visit a number of different worlds, each symbolized by a bookcase, each very different from the last. A battle sequence is initiated when you come in contact with enemies, which are symbolized by little walking pawprints - you’re then taken to a small arena where you have to destroy your enemies, Zelda-style. It’s pretty fun!
There are no known issues with the patch, so enjoy!

A good RPG we missed the first time aroundReviewed By: firedropdl on 23 Oct 2018
I love me some action oriented RPGs, and this one didn’t disappoint.
Translation was spot on, and you wouldn’t ever realize that it wasn’t originally released in English.
Thanks to the Aeon Genesis team for a great translation here. I recommend it to any fans of unique 8-bit RPGs that were different from the Dragon Warrior or Final Fantasy turn based approach.
I played this to the end and didn’t find any bugs or missing translations. :)
Looking forward to playing the FDS translation of the first game, and thought the little easter egg toward the end of the game was a great touch.
