Description:
Super Mario Land 2 DX is a color hack for Super Mario Land 2 in the same vein as Link’s Awakening DX. It adds color, lets you play with Luigi (with different physics) and removes the lag.

Very nice choice of colors, with one slight issue
Reviewed By: BlazeHeatnix on 12 Aug 2018This color hack succeeds in ways other GB color hacks fail. It feels like a DX version done by Nintendo themselves: all the color choices are well-implemented and only improve the game’s artstyle. I don’t particularly care about playing as Luigi, so I won’t comment on that, but I will mention the inconsistencies between overworld colors and level colors. In individual levels, Mario’s overalls are blue, but in the overworld they’re black. And this also applies to the robot in Mario Zone. You could argue this adds to the charm though, in a Cuphead sort of way.
