Castlevania: Rondo of Blood is an action adventure game for the Turbografx-CD.
Hello and welcome to the Castlevania: Rondo of Blood English Translation Patch (PSP to TurboGrafx-CD). After many years of leaving this project abandoned I can happily say that this patch has reached it’s much needed 100% status! However the credits have not made it into this release of the patch (if ever) so in order to compensate for this inconvenience we have included the translation for the credits in the readme.
To make clear, this patch will translate the TurboGrafx-CD version of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood into English. Everything will be translated; even the voiced dialogue will be replaced with the official Konami English dub from Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (PSP). However miscellaneous grunts will retain their original Japanese.
It also replaces the old German narrator with the new narration that was in the PSP and VC release of the game. If you, for whatever reason, do not like this you can easily swap back the original narration (Track03) after it is done patching.
ROM / ISO Information:
- It requires that you apply it to an ISO/WAV/CUE archive of Akumajou Dracula X: Chi no Rondo (Castlevania: Rondo of Blood).

Great! But...Reviewed By: CaptainHIT on 23 Feb 2018
It’s a great translation hack. Fabulous and very easy to apply. You’ll enjoy this original with English subs, text on signs, dub (though the dubs are taken from the PSP version but that doesn’t matter really) so this great game becomes a masterpiece for English speaking audiences.
But… I’d suggest there could be a choice between original and new dubs. I know the original dubs are stored in the backup folder. You can drag’n drop them next to the freshly created files, rename them by deleting the .bak extension, but for some people this could be difficult because it needs a bit tampering with windows system because of enabling disabling to show extensions, searching for the files, copying over them etc. So why not adding a request in the process, asking for this to make it as simple as it could be and everybody would be happy. Me at first couldn’t decide to keep the original dubs, or the new dubs, or just the new German dub with original Japanese dubs later in the game. By the way, BINCHUNK could put the created CUE file to the Patch folder by itself too. I didn’t realize it was already created and was looking on the internet for a CUE sheet creator to use, but was surprised that is was already there. That just took me a few minutes of my life too. :)
