The Way it Should Have Been

Reviewed By: PowerPanda on 13 Apr 2018

I will never understand how this was not a part of the original game. I’ve been wanting to do a replay of Zelda II for a few years now, but didn’t want to until someone took the time to make this hack. I can’t believe it didn’t exist until 2018!

I can verify this works on every dungeon. It fixes the main problem with this game. Don’t do a casual replay without this!

NOTE: I combined this hack with Tog’s “Easy” patch. The combined effect is a bit TOO easy, since you get 6 lives, more health/strength, and the ability to continue anywhere. I’ll be editing Tog’s patch to bring it back to 3 lives.
