Description:

This hack restores all the content that got taken out of the American version of this game back to it, it also fixes up the text as well.

The patch will also work on the European version as well.

The 0xED hex editor was used for this project.

md5sum is wrong

Reviewed By: SCO on 02 Aug 2017

You really can’t trust the md5sums you haven’t verified yourself.

Prince of Persia (USA).sfc MD5 Checksum: 0f82744cffb11108d0f66cd26985e2ef

is *not* the checksum of any version of this rom. You find a rom download page with that md5sum, but it’s absolutely wrong!

The actual md5sum is

8ffc8d34bc75bc049122894b4292eb85

(same as no intro).

When you upload hacks i’d like if the metadata was right. Someday someone will do a dat from rhdnet metadata and many of these will be wrong because of things like this.
