You’ll notice the increased difficulty right away. I implore you, if you play this game, have a turbo pad or your thumb will fall off. The enemies added HP will cause some stress when others spawn and you’re still killing the first guy. Although not needed to beat the game, I used emulator features like save states and framerate increase for several reasons: saved time on grinding hearts to buy weapons; some destroyed blocks lead to (water) death; reduce frustration on certain segments where slimes absolutely kick your ass; to not have to use the password feature (laziness); and wait out the night curse. New castle layouts were cool and added difficulty gave it a fresh experience. The clues were helpful and had some creativity in their writings. I recommend to advanced players who want a challenge and a new experience on a classic game.
