I need technical help in translating Shadowrun for Sega CD. I took the starter pack from RHDN’s abandoned projects page and have created the first two of many dumping tables and have dumped 6 complete script files so far (of 50+). I could start translating those right away (which would take a very long time anyway), but before I do that I need help. More specifically I want someone to tell me what I have to do exactly and what to keep in mind when translating (i.e. restrictions in length? what should the script look like in the end?). Since I couldn’t insert anything into the iso file when I tried today I’ll need help with that for testing, too.
The starter pack comes complete with all needed programs and batch-files for easy use, but the documentation is meant for someone with knowledge about romhacking. I’m just a translator…
