I want to do a translation of the PSX remake of Super Robot Taisen 2 but it seems hacking wise this game is beyond my level. I’ve checked all the files and I haven’t found any text yet, so I think there’s a good chance the text and font might be compressed somewhere. I also just need someone who can write a compressor and decompressor for the .PAC file, which I think might be something in custom format. I’m confident I could translate the script though and do smaller hacking stuff, like pointers and such.

Here’s an example of some translation work I did for Fire Emblem, just to serve as proof that I could translate the game, once everything iss hacked…

マルスおうじ タリスじょうから シーダさまがこられました Prince Marth, Lady Sheeda has arrived from Talis.

どうしたんだ　シーダ しろでなにかあったのか What’s wrong, Lady Sheeda? Did something happen at the castle?

マルスさま　あえてよかった ガルダのかいぞくが とつぜん　おそってきたの Marth, thank goodness you’re here! The Garudian Pirates have started their attack!

おしろも　せんりょうされて おおぜいのひとが　ころされたわ おねがい　おとうさまをたすけて They captured the castle and murdered several people. Please Marth, I beg of you, you have to help my father.

だいじょうぶだよ　シーダ このとりでには　アリティアの ゆうかんな　きしたちがいる Don’t worry, Sheeda! You have nothing to worry about, as long as the Knights of Altea are here.

かいぞくどもに まけることはないち さあ　ぼくといっしょに タリスのしろヘ　いこう We won’t lose to a bunch of pirates. Together we will head towards the castle and stop them!
