Pokemon Brown 2009 By Koolboyman Games with help from AV Hacks. I. HOW TO PATCH AND PLAY II. Glitches and Notes III. Main Credits and Thanks V. Contact VI. One last note II. HOW TO PATCH AND PLAY This is Very Easy, and if you can't understand then I give up. A. Download this: http://www.zophar.net/utilities/download/lips100.zip B. Download a clean Pokemon Red (U) ENGLISH ROM. I do not give links to ROMs, just do a google search and in about 5 minutes you'll find it. C. Download a Gameboy Emulator, again, USE GOOGLE.COM C. Use Lunar IPS.exe, click "Apply IPS Patch" D. Select the PokemonBrown.ips E. After it will ask you to select a ROM. Find the Clean Pokemon Red ROM. F. Use the emulator to open the ROM G. Have fun II. A few things are glitchy, but will not interrupt gameplay. - If you have a save file from the original brown, you can also start where you started off. However, due to memory shifting, your current progress in the Pokedex will be different. This was kind of unavoidable. If you want me to change your Pokedex back to normal, please upload your .sav file to sendspace.com and then PM me the link. I'll send it back to you with your Pokedex back to normal - There are a few minor glitches, such as the bottom right tile of some Pokemon missing. - Pictures may be glitchy if you simply go to the Pokemon menu during battle and exit it. - Some emulators have weird lines through the Pokemon pics. - You can't hop over the ledges in Johto - You can go through cycling road's check line like in Red. I don't think I can fix this - Pokedex won't update "own" when traded. This will be fixed in the future, and when it does, to add your traded Pokemon to the Pokedex, simply trade back and forth. III. Main Credits and thanks: Koolboyman: Running the project and making everything else in the game. MeanMrMustard/The Dude: Really helped out with some of the complicated ASM stuff. Hiroshi Sotomura: Helped me beta test and tossed around his suggestions and ideas as well. IV. Site http://rijon.nintendo-net.com/ V. I hope you have fun and enjoy it, which is the reason I made this hack in the first place!
