  • Games
    The given name for this game was a translated name. The original name attached to the rom file and found elsewhere as the name for this game was not included except in the translation notes of which rom to use. I have made the rom name the primary name and the translated one the "alternative" name. I do believe that should be how it is. :)

    An alternative version compatible with "Bomberman co-op" is created.

    Spelling correction of the word "Assohles", I fixed the typo and changed it to "Assholes". I also capitalized the words "French", and "English" in the description section. I got the following errors when I attempted to submit my corrections so I had to download, resize, and upload/change the images as well: 1. 'https://www.romhacking.net/translations/gameboy/images/2592screenshot1.png' is a size of 320x288 which is invalid for platform: 'Game Boy'! Native resolutions for this platform are 160x144. Mega Man X2 MSU-1

Hack of Mega Man X2

Description:

This patch adds support for CD quality audio to Mega Man X2 using MSU-1 chip invented by byuu. So far, it is only supported and tested on bsnes, higan and the SD2SNES flashcart.

If the MSU-1 is not detected, the patch plays the original music, thus the patch works on all emulators (but it is less fun to listen to).

The link to the audio pack is included in the README file. The music reorchestration is by Krzysztof Slowikowski.

ROM / ISO Information:

  • MEGAMAN X2
  • U.S.A.
  • 1572864 Bytes (12.0000 Mb)
  • Interleaved/Swapped: No
  • Backup unit/emulator header: No
  • Version: 1.0
  • Checksum: Ok, 0x09b7 (calculated) == 0x09b7 (internal)
  • Inverse checksum: Ok, 0xf648 (calculated) == 0xf648 (internal)
  • Checksum (CRC32): 0x947b0355
