Advance Wars: Days of Ruin - Japanese Language Enabler

Hack of Advance Wars: Days of Ruin

Description:

This patch is a very, very simple hack to allow the usage of the Japanese translation that exists in the game but is hardcoded to not be enabled, likely due to the fact it was never released in Japan. This patch removes that limitation.

I’d also like to note, I did not produce this translation, it is Intelligent Systems’ original Japanese script as it exists in the game.

Rom Required: Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (U)

How to Use:

  • Use a patcher like xdelta to apply the patch to the ROM.
  • Set your Nintendo DS’ language to Japanese
  • Play the game!

Limitations:

  • The Main Intro and Title Screen isn’t translated, they don’t appear to exist in the standard language sensitive file structure.

ROM / ISO Information:

  • Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (U).nds
  • CRC32: EAC313F3
