Game Review (by Spinner 8):
This is a complete remake of the original NES Final Fantasy. If you played the original, well, there’s not much here to warrant playing through it again, other than a sheer nostalgia trip. There’s a nice FFIV-style graphical upgrade going on, but the musical upgrade is barely better than the original. And the game is pretty much the same. Monsters that can paralyze you just by attacking? Fuck that. Nine Shadows, every time, that attack first, every time? And only do one point of damage? That’s some bullshit.
