Mortal Kombat II

Super Nintendo

Game Description:

A very competant arcade port. The graphics are superb and highly resemble those of the arcade game although the sprites are smaller. The moves are all present and most of the secrets of the arcade game are present. There are actually new codes which increase replayability. The music may be better than arcade as SNES music tends to be smooth listening. The combination of all these elements make for a immersive experience. The most jarring omission is the title screen music which the Genesis version actually has. The Genesis version scraps the rest of the music so the tradeoff is acceptable considering the latter. Great game overall.
