The poster above is the one who's working with me on Famicom Detective Club. Anyone who visits my BBS already knows that.

It's been a long time since I've started this post, and I just want to say that I've resumed contact with tummai, the translator to FDC, which I thought was long gone. I will start work again on the project, which has been in hiatus for several months. I will also restart work on Dragon Knight, which will be probably the first and last H-game I will work on.

I haven't heard from him in awhile regarding The Light of Indra, either. He said he was going to play my WIP to check his translation.

I plan to add two games to my project list. One of them is Satsui no Kaisou, a unique adventure game which features a different interface from those who use Portopia's. It also gets very hard near the end. The other one, whose name is EarthBound (not related to the later SNES game), is for the PC-6001 and the FM-7. You're supposed to save a cat, whose name probably is Princess Confusion.

EDIT: EarthBound was the secret project mentioned earlier in this thread.

I would like to say I'm sorry for putting the project on hiatus, I am beginning to attempt trying to hack it again. I'm glad to hear that the translator is back. I'm not gonna make any promises, but I am starting to resume work on it.
So for the time being, don't count on me unless I make some major progress.

I'm glad to hear that the translator is back.

Thank you. Unfortunately, the translator's gone again, so that's that.

If you are referring to me, I'm not gone.  I am waiting for word on the hacking side of the project.  Have you guys had any luck getting DTE into FDC?

Well, we are going to remap the pointers instead. And maybe change the text window to make it fit five lines.

EDIT: Oh damn, noname. Well, my cover's blown. I didn't want to be affected by the curse, as silly as it sounds. Consider Adventures of Arle part of JPN Translations. This will be the last time I'm going to use this account.

Well the last time I was working on this nonme said that he tried to do it but there didn't seem to be enough room. We were looking into expanding the rom, but I guess really it's just remapping the pointers now, instead of coding in DTE.

Any updates for the FDC project?

Is there already a script dump, or is the script already translated? I'm about to finish playing the GBA port of the game, so I don't mind helping to translate (if it isn't translated yet).

And sorry for asking, but what about trying to hack the GBA rom (the GBA "Famicom Mini" port) instead of the Famicom one?

Thanks guys.

The project was probably long dead before it was ever announced. The only thing that doesn't make it like all the other failed projects was that they got lucky and I think tummai translated it. I'd be interested in picking the game up for the future especially if tummai has a translated script lying around as I have too much on my plate at the moment.
