So why's this new Hello Kitty World translation so vastly superior? It's not like you really need to produce a masterwork concerning a game about a cat with balloons, especially when there's already two other translations out there.

EL RESIDENTE MALO

Does anyone know if that PAL version of RE:DC can be played on NTSC systems? I'd really like to see how they dealt with the Master of Unlocking line.

With a swap disc, yes.

Now, if your TV supports PAL signals on the other hand... that's a different matter.

I wouldn't be able to understand it anyways, but shouldn't the R2R screenshots be bigger?

I'm sure it would run on an emulator.

Where's Kanon?

It's still in the submission queue status and still pending, as far as I know.

Yes, those screenshots are terrible. I would have rejected those. Ugh... Somebody should definitely fix those. It's so hard to maintain quality around here.

Aishsha has to be the most discrete romhacker in the whole fan translation community. This is like the second or third time I almost miss one of (his/her?) complete patch for a Nes RPG. I can already confirm that Silva Saga is a lot better than that Columbus game, too.
Funny how Silva Saga almost looks better than its Super Famicom sequel.

It would probably sound a lot like this.

You know, I'm actually surprised that voice dubbing isn't more common in PS1 translations. But, I know nothing about the system or its quirks so it may be impossible to do for all I know.

Lovely how no Resident Evil translation gives proper credit to the person who removed the protection on data (which rendered hacking the game pretty much impossible): Phoenix of SadNES cITy. Some people really know how to be ungrateful.

He's probably gotten used to it, much like how I've gotten used to how people say "someone found out that Castlevania II's awful translation is actually spot-on accurate, 'graveyard duck' and all". ^_^;

He doesn't seem to be used to people going around using what doesn't belong to them without even saying 'thanks', but that's only natural. And since you mentioned the graveyard duck, I'm sure Phoenix has been recently thinking of playing Duck Hunt, with Crakand, Lozanosky, and IlDucci being the ducks.

On a random topic, am I the only one who noticed that the gauge in the lower-right of the screenshot for Bunny Must Die appears to say "Ememy"?

I can't find the post, but I think that was one of mine, and I never said the entire thing was spot on, but that line did mention a duck in a graveyard. NPCs do lie in that game.
