Excellent work KaioShin! After playing the previous games, I'll now be able to have a better understanding of CH since it's in English.

Oh man this is wonderful and fantastic and unexpected. I also had my doubts that would be finished. :)

I played a little bit and it's so great and I'm so happy. Huge thanks to everyone involved!

Thanks a lot KaioShin! This game is absolutely wonderful.

Was worth dusting off the old GBA :P

You've done a good job - I've yet to have a problem with the game!

Very nice work, works just fine on my f2a cart.

Game is fun so far, but save points seem few and far between since the initial save at the beginning of the game. I'll just have to patch it with a sleep hack to save my battery life ;)

EDIT: I see now, I have to make a "Confession" to save, explains why I couldn't save before.. ha

 Cheers to the gba translation scene

Nice work on the translation!

It seems a good game, but this Food consumption system is nuts. It ticks down very fast even on normal terrain, and you need to fight monsters to get gold. At the start of the game, monsters drop hardly any gold, so soon enough you can't afford to totally replenish your food supply. I guess if you accidentally save with close to no food or gold, you are screwed.

Clements,

If you die, you lose half your gold but you are also provided some food, a 100 if I remember correctly, so that should last you a while.

I personally disliked the food system which really didn't enhance the game experience and was much more of a chore than anything else.

The food system can be tough in the beginning.

The best start for the game is to abuse the merchant on the first island who restores your rations for free. Just grind some enemies around that island to get a small stock of money, 200 or 300 gold. As a nice side effect you'll also level up a bit. When you're rations are low, just get them restored for free.

In Chapter 1 you'll soon get a Merchant to your caravan, at that point all your food problems will be solved. Put him in front of a wagon and he'll get you 10 extra gold every battle. With that you'll soon be swimming in money.

The food system IS there for a good reason, it makes greater variety with the classes. You'll have to think more about who to take with you in the wagons. Without the food system, one would only stock up damage dealer after extra damage dealer, so the whole caravan system would boil down to increasing your bonus damage, that would be boring woulnd't it ;)

Just stick to the game a bit, most people grow to like it very much after the first few hours, it gets much more interesting once you'll start recruiting more wagon members :)

I can see how that would even things up.

I don't know about you, however, but the food system never really did influence who were my party members.

I never thought: "Oh no, better not put these guys together, gonna use up too much food."

Neither did I.

I didn't have too much problem with food due to over-grinding, though. By the time I hit the fourth chapter I was nearly at the max food limit!
