Disnesquick and satsu have been hard at work on their Energy Breaker translation. Recently, satsu wrote the following on his page:
Quote
"I got a copy of the inserter for Energy Breaker, so I've been doing a lot of work on the game lately. (comparatively speaking). I'm playing and editing simultaneously to make sure that the edited parts are polished, and to find some lines that have me baffled as to their context.
Disnesquick has put up a few screenshots showing how the project is looking now on his own Energy Breaker page, so check it out."

More screenshots can be found on Disnesquick's Page

I really think that Disnesquick's page ought to be the Relevant Link here. D:

I really, really like the menu font you're using. Almost wish you'd use that for the dialogue instead of Inindofont :p

I did try the menu font in the dialogue box but it looks really squished up. Plus I really don't think Satsu wants to reformat the script any time soon for a new font!
Btw. Gid, did you ever find a translator for Lady Stalker?

I think that dialouge font looks very nice.
(and certainly a lot better than the old font. Big disproportion between caps and lowercase, if I remember the font right.)  ;D

Nice.  I've been wanting to go through this for some time since coming across it years ago.  Playing around with it a little, it seemed like it could turn out to be a decent game.  I could just never bring myself to wade through it though (since I didn't know what was going on, and didn't feel like being forced to rely on a walkthrough in order to play it).

I'm definitely looking forward to this one.

Not yet. I'll toss a Help Wanted up in the next few weeks both on here and on AGTP home, and I'll poke around the usual channels (in other words, ask people who already are doing/have done something for me.) Need to update my own Help Wanted to remove the Fire Emblem ad anyway.

Recommend moving the lowercase t down a pixel. Or at least moving the cross on the lowercase t down a pixel. It looks skewed in its current form.

I think in the future, I'm going to either demand a team of Algerian slave boys to do all the formatting work for me or pass on my translations to an editor. :(

You'll be pleased to know that the game isn't entirely compatible with ZSNES, then. It can't display the map screen properly. :)

Playing these on an Xbox with SNES9X is the best way to go in my opinion, hell you can even get one of those usb adapters I think and use one of those Hori Gamecube SNES controllers if you want to go the extra mile.

This game looks great, can't wait to play it.

Edit: Nevermind, never try analyzing a font from memory of screenshots you haven't seen in two weeks.

Right, let's remember there are a few alternatives to ZSNES.

BSNES, SNEeSe, SNES9X, and Super Sleuth as a last resort because I don't think it has sound yet, but is still very accurate.

If none of those work and you really must play it, buy a copier. ;)

*remembers time before purchasing copier*

*shudders*

Seriously, except for testing a few minor changes, I'd never play SNES games on an emulator again.
