Have you tried rolling back to DirectX 9.0C?  It should definitely work fine with DirectX9.

You can't go back to DX9 on Vista AFAIK. At least it would be really really weird if you could.

I tried. And I think it worked..somehow? xD I'm not sure, I don't know very much about games and so on.
Well, it works good but when you have to move around, the graphic will be..well kinda weird. I can't really explain..it turns grey-ish? ><

Ah... well hum... maybe try changing it to OpenGL rather than Direct3D... dunno.

Good afternoon,

I was just wondering how the rest of the translation was coming.  I know a while back it was mentioned there were only a few files left to translate.

The translation's coming along.  There are more files than I anticipated though.  So yeah, it may be awhile.  Plus I still haven't received all the files I need translated (so waiting on the translator for those last few).

Thanks for the update, I do appreciate it very much.  If I knew any Korean at all, I'd offer to give you a hand, but you'd most likely get badly butchered text from anything I tried to translate.

It's cool.  I'll continue to work on it when I can.  I'd say it's about 60% done right now.  In terms of files, that's about 130-150 files (don't know the actual number until I get through everything, but it's unlikely that it's more than this).

Thanks for your encouragement everyone.

Also, if you have any questions regarding technical issues with the game, feel free to post them.  I can't promise you'll get the answer you want, but I'll try to help make sure the game works for you.

I assume you have an ATI card? I get the same result in the first picture, lots of missing graphics. However, the game won't run for me in OpenGL.

My only suggestion is running the game with a Nvidia Geforce card. I have tested one and it works well with OpenGL.

Heh, you may have to wait awhile.  Work continues, but it's slow.

I have almost the very same problem as you. It can be resolved by either:
-> Use "3Dfx (OpenGL)" as a Renderer in the game config (MCSetup.exe). I know it sounds strange, but it solved for me.  ;D
-> replace the files in "DRV" folder to the ones that are installed BEFORE patching. By some strange reason, the D3D renderer from the v1.0 (CDs) version tends to work better than the one that comes with the patch - Or at least with me...

The 2nd suggestion requires you reinstall the game (Including deletion of any remaining files and folders after unninstall), then copy the "Drv" folder to another place, then apply v1.04a patch, then translation, and then copy the "Drv" folder (Or, at least, the "AsrD3DDrv.dll" file) you've copied to the game folder, replacing the files.

This, or use Winpack to unpack the "Drv" folder from the "Data1.cab" file in CD 1, then copy the "AsrD3DDrv.dll" file to the "Drv" folder.

Have you tried what the poster above you suggested?

Excuse me for my bad English, but I have a error message (this one: " Unknown Error - Cannot match PixelFormat") and I can't play this game. What can I do to fix that problem ?
Thanks in advance.
