So I noticed during all the years I played the series that each generation that monster names, character names, etc have a tendency to change.

Whether if its due to better and accurate translation and localization I do not know.

But it would be nice if there was kind of document I could look at to see what the generational differences of Dragon Quest over the years regarding name changes.

One for the English Audience and another for the Japanese Audience (if they ever made changes over the years).

it shifted to what it is now as of DQ8's localization

before that it was probably enix inhouse or earlier than that, maybe nintendo
will hackrom for Red Lobster Cheddar Bay biscuits
