Guys, I need help editing this title screen
« on: August 13, 2019, 03:20:41 pm »
I am able to edit most of the text in this game with a HEX editor but the text on the title screen seems to be hidden. Can anyone look at this and point me in the right direction?

I want to change the (c) 1991 VIC TOKAI, LICENCED BY NINTENDO, etc. Basically all the text on this screen.

Here is the ROM file:
==MOD EDIT==
Removed ROM link.

Thank you!

I found TOKAI (D4CFCBC1C9) at offset 00008CAF (Hex Workshop) in the ROM and the other text should be there as well. What do you wish to change the text to?

Thank you! I didn't even know HEX Workshop existed. I downloaded it but I still can't figure out how you found that. Is it one of the options or special tabs?

I simply used the great emulator Mesen and its PPU viewer to find
the letters in TOKAI. HxD is another hex editor I've used. I
thought you meant that you already knew how to use a
hex editor...
