Final Fantasy 5 gba script port on real hardware
« on: September 04, 2018, 10:20:48 pm »
Hi,

I am trying to run the Final Fantasy 5 gba script port patch on my real snes using an everdrive flashcart. It freezes with a black screen after the opening credits. The music continues playing. Is this patch not compatible with real hardware?

I figured out the issue. The rom information still said that the rom was 16 mbit, which was making the game freeze. I fixed it by updating it to 32 mbit. The game now runs great.

If anybody else has this problem on a flashcart, just open the rom in a hex editor and go to $FFD7 and change $0B to $0C.
