Did I understand well?? There is a patch but it's made with a bad image of the game??

If i remember well, I had a friend that made me a little tool that "view" ppf (show what offset are patched with what values)...maybe it's possible to correct the patch by checking where something is changed that seems out of place.

It shoulds be possible after all you can put an ips file into a hexeditor and "edit" the changes the patch will be making, by the way what is that song at the title screen?

It's a partial patch - it only translates some interface elements, pilot names, and a couple of other things. No story translation.
