First SNES game to use a FastROM?
« on: September 20, 2019, 12:32:08 pm »
I just learned about this being a thing, so this is the best explanation I've got:
"There's two types of SNES Roms that were used for games, the cheaper SlowROMs and the more expensive FastROMs.
Early SNES titles were either completely or mostly SlowROMs and as far as I know there's a pretty dramatic difference in performance between the two, best exemplified by comparing Super Ghouls n Ghosts's original release to it being hacked into a FastROM."

I can't find these in it though, or at least I'm not sure it's them:
SD Gundam Gaiden: Knight Gundam Monogatari: Ooinaru Isan
Super Nobunaga no Yabou: Bushou Fuunroku
