It seems the loops are differnt in 7-4 then previous castles. It is so messed up, can anyone help please?

Are you talking about the arrangement of loops in the level, not the "Edit Looping" feature?

the edit looping feature. the hex numbers seem to go with the vertical numbers on the side of the editor in the first two castles with looping. but 7-4 is all f0.

You're not along, sometimes I have my own troubles of not being able to get the loop working correctly, when deciding to implement it in on a blank level. (Not editing the castle level directly, is to ensure originality of levels)

This should help, but I notice the world 7 pages are way different, like they are higher then the others.

You're mistaking World 7 for World 8, due to a confusing array:

"03 03 06 06 06 06 06 06 07 07 07"

00 is World 1, 01 is World 2, etc. . (as shown in the image above)
Reason World 8's loops' V pos is set to $f0 is because there's no "correct" solution to progress to the next pages as it is a pipe level.

 :banghead: I wondered if 7 was really 8. Thanks Eden! That certainly explains my problems lol. I didn't see that in Shane's txt either despite it being the first thing written. :o
