Can someone test Marvelous please? I know it seems like a lot of steps, but it's actually quite short.

Please use the original Japanese version, and use ID 1E11 (Hakchi).

Canoe Save
https://www.sendspace.com/file/ic4jvn

Emu save
https://www.sendspace.com/file/8pignh

Pick 2nd save.
Press Y to gather the 3 characters together and enter the door above. Place one character in a switch, use R to pick another character and place each on a switch.
When asked who will stay, select 1st one (Deon). Press Y to gather characters and exit room.

Once you drop down, press R to leave behind the fat kid and stay with the thin one (he walks faster). Press switch below, leave room.
Once outside, go down, then left, then up. On the 2nd screen you'll see a hole with some stairs. Use it.

Once inside, take stairs on the right.
Follow the path and you'll see the character that stayed behind. Press Y to gather him. Leave this area the same way you came.
Once outside, go down to the next screen, then right, then up to go back inside the temple where you left the fat kid.

Once inside, you'll see to the right two levers on each side. Press R to move the thin and small kid to the right lever, and place the fat kid on the left one. Press A and once they stop taking, select the second box on the right (Teamwork).
Once they get into position, HOLD A for the thin/small kid to pull the lever, once they do, release A. Repeat until the bar is filled.
Once that's done, press Y to gather the characters and get in the balloon on top.
You'll have to press A rapidly now because some critters are going to be pulling you down.

Make a video of the credits (not the ending, that one is fine).

I'm trying it with the canoe save but I can't see any saved games in it.
I start a new game and save it to crete the save file with the right structure, I export the .clvs file of the game and remane to .tar.gz, then I open it with 7zip and overwrite the cartridge.sram cartridge.sram.hash files but later in the game it doesn't show any saved game:

What I'm doing bad Reyvgm??

Try this one:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/y2u8vl

Hit import save in hakchi.

But I can import it as it is??
My game ID is going to be different in my hakchi, maybe I have to open it with 7zip and change the folder name to CLV-U-NBEUH or it will not work...
I'm right??

I try what I wrote before but what a strange thing, the game saved in the game is empty like before:
https://imgur.com/MRUjUGo

But now I have two save states with various hours of playing:

*UPDATE: I think I can't use that save states to finish the game because they are with the english transalation and the game crashes when I try to talk with some one.

Could Marvelous be one of those games where the sram has some kind of ID or something like that? I remember there was someone a while ago that posted stuff about the saves of Kirby and Yoshi's Island and probably something else and how to make them work.

EDIT: It was BigLongJohnson.

Use the emu save and convert it using sfrom tool, that's the only way I could get it to work.

Now, you said that the save files still don't appear? Try this. Load the SAVE STATE then, and then reset the game. See if the save files appear then.
If not, load the SAVE STATE, press SELECT and save the game like on a real cartridge. That should get you a save file.

Once you verify you have a save file, then restart the game so it removes the english SAVE STATE effects.

---

If none of that works, then here's a save sram done with the japanese version, so it should work on canoe:

That's literally what my original link for the canoe save is.

Can anybody test this?

"CDI" demo
https://snescentral.com/article.php?id=1061

Video has more information why, a new background has been discovered that is apparently not visible through any other emulators than the one in the forthcoming POLYMEGA.

I have done what you say and it works, now let's see if I am able to finish the game in 60 seconds...

Make a save state as you progress. It's not hard, you just have to be quick.

Finally I did it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxsq_8om_0E

The sound at the ending scene has significative slowdowns with -no-lowlatency and the black border.

Thanks!

Thought so. The translation is using normal size res for the credits, even though it's supposed to be hi-res. That's why it's breaking in the SNESC. I guess this is something only the author of the patch can fix?

Keep forgetting about those special chip pids. Mario pid should be good. :)
=== Now my game won't boot. Recreating patched game again. ^^

Clock Tower: teahouser says that official pid has an audio problem with optical audio systems. Because the game volume is often muted, it has a delay turning back on the speakers which cuts off some audio. On normal TV systems, this doesn't happen.

I didn't see anything different from other games. So asking teahouser to use alternate sound patch with 0000 pid to see if problem goes away.

Thanks sluffy I'll try out your patch in canoe with no preset ID and get back to you. Perfect example of the problem is the main screen menu, if I scroll the menu slowly then the sound is almost completely cut out, but if I start scrolling quickly it'll kick the sound on and the proper sound can be heard.

I (unfortunately) found a graphical issue on Kirby's Dreamland 3 with sluffy's patch (and 9C10 on hakchi). In fact, when there is a transparency layer and when another special effect is trigger in the game, you will only see the background for one frame (like a flickering effect or something similar to yoshi's island when you touch a fuzzy) I made a video with level 2-5, when you catch the invicibility rod : look carefully when you catch this item and also when the effect of the item is over :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oF_OaFXiZ8w&feature=youtu.be

It was much more obvious with the boss of level 2 with a lot of these effects (when you are underwater) but unfortunately I can't play against it again, since I already completed the world (and not thought to keep save)

I made the comparison with vanilla rom and preset id A410 on canoe (and also on PC with higan), and this effect was never triggered (at least on level 2-5 on the same conditions shown in this video)

EDIT : I tried the sluffy patched rom with pid at 0000 and all the SA-1 extra-bytes (concerning accuracy and lack of slowdown "0A" seems to be the best for this game = similar to pid at 9C10 and extrabyte at 00). However same graphical glitch issue each time. (you can also notice, that the vanilla rom with pid at 0000 and with differents extra-byte 06 to 0B, leads always to no-transparency)

Can't you go back to the previous world through the world selection screen? (called Pop Star)

Of course yes, but if you are talking about play against boss 2 it's impossible since you have deliver all the hidden stars of each level of a world and then beat the boss (he will be now no more agressive)...Unless you finish entirely the game and then play all the boss on the option menu (so it would be faster to play the game since the beginning)
