The environments are all done with 3d models not sprites, I was wondering if you could adjust their color as well.
It is called the textures. Yes, the textures palette is also easy to change. But there are much more of them than portraits and sprites of characters.

At first i thought it was only the character portraits, i didnt realize the changing in the sprites as well. So i would be definitely interested in this too. Good luck.

Definitely like the idea behind this project, though I wouldn't bother with the background textures. Keeping them a bit muted will ensure the re-colored character sprites and portraits really pop.
