A new Castlevania adventure is available to play for NES!

Simon Belmont has just defeated Dracula, but now faces a new enemy. Choose from 5 different stages before facing an evil necromancer in the game's final stage. Make sure to use the power of the holy relics as you complete each stage!

Featuring all new weapons, bosses, enemies, and gampeplay, Castlevania: The Holy Relics is a rom hack done by Optomon throughout the course of 2017, with graphical contributions by Setz, Bit-Blade, Dr. Mario and Boneless Ivar. Version 1.0 will be up shortly!

I feel that the only thing missing to this game be a completely different thing of the original Castlevania is an new healty bar, like the one from Chorus of Mysteries, but the game is excellent!

For me it is different... I really love the original health bar.
I am very happy it was not changed!

Health bar on Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden are REAL RELICS!
Love them as they are!

I think it is the optimal route. But I am open for ideas. This hack plays better then the Orginal. Great job!!

I see in the readme that there is official box art for this hack. Anywhere to find that so I can add it to my Retropie? Found it on lostclassicvgs but it was very small.

Myself and two others from RetroAchievement.org are doing a study for Castlevania: The Holy Relics, as were making XBox style achievements for it. We are trying to find ALLLLL the hidden treasures for some fun achievements.

We've already found a bunch more than bogaabogaa mentioned earlier, starting from their list.


We've found one spot that indicates a hidden treasure but won't reveal it:

Hello Optomon, i've tried to send you a PM via RomHacking Forum but your inbox is full.

To fix that one Treasure in the Woods you will have to change the value 94 to 86 in 1B90A. I've tested all the other Treasures in the Game and they all do work except for this one in the Woods. Great Game with a lot of details! i hope you get some free space in your inbox because i have a question for you.
