It's Ao no Kiseki for PSP. My website is https://heroesoflegend.org/forums/

State of the project: We are doing pretty well on this large project. You can get a feel for the status here: http://gurennoheyakara.blogspot.com/p/games.html

The current mission is to translate the orbal arts manual pages. I'll describe the task shortly.
I am looking for a tutorial for how I can do this myself because we have no team members who are willing & able to do this. I do not have Photoshop software (I have used GIMP before) and I have a basic understanding of layers, and I've used the rectangle select tool to copy and paste before. I am willing to buy the cheaper Photoshop "elements" version if it will do what's needed for this project.

Here it is, then. The orbal arts manual pages show the player what kind of magic is available, the requirements to access it, and the effects. There are 29 of these in total. Each page could contain between three and seven entries. Two examples:

Someone cleaned the base image for me:

The middle two columns do not require translation and can be copied from the original images.
I did translations for the first two pages and I can do more if or as needed: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lI_uyGKrcgXxoCb0e9vXtzh4brLylVviMK_npjQhKms/edit#gid=1456580361

So what are you asking for, exactly? Translation help? Graphic editing help? Or someone to teach you how to use GIMP?

This. Or any graphics editor capable of doing this, really.
