Almost exactly 20 years after its release and 10 years after the development on the first iteration of the translation, Sutte Hakkun (NP) has been translated by Raccoon Sam, a long-time fan of the series and a casual ROM hacker.
Sutte Hakkun is a cute but extremely difficult puzzle platformer developed by IndiesZero. There are a variety of event BS-X versions, along with a version released for the Nintendo Power SFC Memory service - commonly known as "Sutte Hakkun NP" or "Sutte Hakkun cartridge version."
The Satellaview versions remain untranslated and this translation is for the cartridge retail release.
99% of the script was translated by Veal Gins
, the ending screens by an anonymous poster on 4chan
, and all of the hacking was done by Raccoon Sam
Although there are some small translation errors and questionable grammar here and there, the hack is pretty much a complete translation.
This is the author's first real ROM hack release. Although the translation is done, the game still has big hacking potential because of an unusually neat pseudo-filesystem found in the ROM – for more info, click the Relevant Link.RHDN Project PageRelevant Link
