This still feels slightly clumsy, but I'll probably go with this unless there's more input.

EDIT: I might be feeling a bit more confident on the meaning here. The alternate meaning of a "a consolation match" between losers in a bracket kind of fits in to this "battle of restoration". Like it's a chance for the underdog to make a comeback. In this case the one Zoid faction is losing until the hero (you) shows up, thus redeeming the one side and restoring "balance". Perhaps it should be a battle of redemption?

I believe that the せん here is an archaic conjugation of する that indicates (in this case) certainty that something will happen (the 復活 of the 大いなる力).  You see it a lot in invocations and prophecies in video games.

It likely won't be in most J->E dictionaries, but if you look at む in a classical dictionary or large J-J dictionary (like the Koujien) it will be there. せむ is full form but せん is an alternate.

In modern Japanese it's used mostly in set phrases like んばかり (e.g. 泣かんばかり - about to cry) and んとする (自らの王国を作るため世界を滅ぼさんとする - on the verge of destroying the world to make one's own kingdom)

That's how I would translate things like this. You have to be careful because it can come off as silly, but at least it should be more formal, written-style English.

I would go with something like "When a faithful warrior doth appear at the promised place, the great power shall be reborn. -- that's a legend in these parts." Others can probably do much better than that.

Just do a normal sentence and then run it through a Shakespeare 'translator' and clean it up?

I tried it and got:

at which hour a faithful warrior doth appeareth at the promised lodging, the most wondrous power shalt beest reborn. -- that's a legend in these parts.

Thinking cleanup would then be:
At which hour a faithful warrior doth appeareth at the promised locale, the most wondrous power shalt be reborn. That is the legend in these parts. (skip using contractions in ye olde english, I imagine)

"doth appeareth" is wrong; the plain verb appears after "doth". "Shalt" is second-person, so it should be "power shall". That shakespeare translator doesn't seem very good.
