Well, we are sure the game is getting his own identity, it's starting to feel less NG and more unique.

Here is a new video showing the new Stage 1 graphics (Streets)
Also, put attention to Deadpool face in the menu, when he gets hit, low health or dies... oh and the new sound for dead.

I made a print test today, maybe not perfect because I used scissors, but I think good enough, sadly the box already has damage hahaha (fail from me) but you can see our idea for a box.

What of the NG games are you hacking to make this Deadpool game? 1, 2 or 3?

Thanks a lot, we have been really trying to do something great for all of us, we make this more like players and fans, then we think of it as "developers" if you can call it like that haha...

This is a hack of NG1

The bonus stage will be part of the story (unlock it to see the true ending of the game) or just considered a "extra"?

Video quality is not the best, but I wanted to show you something new...

Just to let you know the game is not dead, its indeed more alive than ever, we have been silent on purpose because we dont want to get any kind of C&D letters or people asking for a release date or a demo... we have been able to change a lot of graphics, nearly all the music of the game and we are adding more enemies and options to it... we have even hate we dont started this as a homebrew...

Anyways, the game is still going and I just wanted to remember that this will be done :D

The good thing about not having an release date is that the developers can have the freedom to add and improve whatever they want in the game, and we can have awesome things in the game, as this rain effect, what in first glance seems better than the one of NG3.

Cuphead took 8 years to be the awesome as it is, without caring about a release date imposed by fans.
A good game is a really refined one.

8 years?! That's ridiculous even by those standards. At least Cuphead is doing well in sales and it's a nice game to look at too.

Maybe Cuphead is selling well because it was very well "cooked"  :D
I think that with this hack will happens the same thing; whe the developers thinks that it is done and nothing more can be added or improved, they will release.

in other side, Capcom wanted to release StreetFighter V when the annoucements make the hype of that game high, and released the game incomplete. everybody knows that the idea not worked well.

Nowadays, a lot of gaming companies release incomplete games, and then hope to quickly patch it because they couldn't make deadlines. You can do that now that all the games are connected to servers, so it's easy for gaming companies to release updates. Many times thousands of people are pre-purchasing games, while these companies are in early stages of development, haven't even got anything other than some fancy artwork to show off. You've seen how when released they are full of bugs, and you can't even play until a month or two later when all the bugs are fixed.

This is really cool to have stumbled across. Inspired to make a bookmarks folder for exciting projects so I don't drift away from them. Take your time, I'm patient enough to wait this long for MML3, I'll wait as long as it takes for this, once it is ready. At least unlike Capcom, you're actually working on it, and it's not sitting in a vault somewhere already-finished unreleased.

That animated graphics page is shared between two different stages, but there is enough room to animate the fetuses.  One of the other team members suggested that too, so it should happen sooner or later.  Currently I'm working on moving around the level data in the ROM to allow for a few more stages.  We're planning on adding an optional tutorial stage to help new players learn the ropes.
