 Land 2 with the color hack patch using Lunar IPS, but when I run the game in Emumaster (gameboy emu for PSP), the screen goes white and just stops.

Has anyone gotten this game/hack working with Emumaster for PSP?

I didn't test it, but the patch was made with Visualboy advance in mind, so if this emulator works then the patch might work on it.

There are two versions of this hack - you are using the 'fixed' version by Drakon...right?

Drakons hack don't affect emulation far as I know. It just fixes a glitch where graphics glitch up after beating a level.

From what I recall, Drakon's fixes for the hack were to make it playable on more than just the 1 (or couple, idk for sure) emulator(s) that supported those "colorizer" hacks. I think Drakon's version makes the game behave more like a black GBC cart would.


I tried both hacks. Same thing in Emumaster for PSP

Damn, that's a bummer.  :-\ Have you tried it off the old game boy emulator for PSP? I can't remember the name of it offhand, but it might play nicely with it.

EDIT: I might be thinking of GemP for PSP. Or perhaps Masterboy (from the sounds of it though that one sounds like a past iteration of what Emumaster is today). Hope one of those work for ya!

That's how it started out, Drakon wanted to make it compatible on hardware, but he didn't like the game so instead he just fixed the problem with glitched graphics.

Emumaster is just a renamed Masterboy with a fake changelog. Don't use that.
Every version above 2.02 is also fake.
If Masterboy doesn't work, try Homer's Rin or Retroarch.

It didn't work for me with RIN, Masterboy or RetroArch. I may be using a bad version of Retroarch and RIN though.

Just a quick aside, RetroArch itself is very rarely the problem.  The problem is most likely the core you're using in RetroArch, because that's the emulator.

Just a quick aside, RetroArch itself is very rarely the problem.  The problem is most likely the core you're using in RetroArch, because that's the emulator.
What actually happened is that the PSP hard locked and shut down by itself when I opened the ROM, so it may be a Retroarch issue (I'm not even sure if I'm using a stable release or a nightly, that's why I said I may have a bad version).

Just play the original, colors in the color hack aren't that great(same goes to majority of other similar hacks).
