Necro-bumping the project's thread.

Letting everyone know that CoA is alive and well.  We are still in need of a volunteer FamiTracker individual that can help lend a hand in creating reference music towards the project so it can be inserted into the ROM itself by Optomon.  I have asked nesfan to see if he was willing to put my stuff down and help out though he is busy these days so wondering if anyone else would be interested in lending a hand towards the project alongside nesfan.  I do have the FamiTracker module that nesfan was working on so I can supply that for it has the instruments from Castlevania 3 though you will need to show me something that you know on what you are doing along with agreeing with the volunteer work and proper, continuous communication.  We've had too much drama and people trying to hold stuff hostage for money (on my end at least) along with people doing a tiny bit of work then disappear with unfinished tracks.

This is the ONLY reason why CoA isn't out yet.  The music needs to be done first before any more in-depth programming can happen.  Optomon is still extremely patient with us as he wants to implement the music in before anything else, this includes the new bosses I designed for Sephirous.

At this rate we do want to aim for a late 2019 release but after a year of trying to find people to help with the music it has become a hide and go seek task of trying to find a needle in a Mount Everest sized haystack.

Again, this is VOLUNTEER work we are asking for.  VOLUNTEER WORK.  No money is being sought out in all of this.

No need to cross your fingers as it will be finished for we are making sure this version is 100% completed and released :)

-------------------------------------

Updating my post.  I talked to nesfan and he's going to finish CoA's tracks.  I asked him to put down all of my stuff to focus entirely on the production of CoA's soundtrack along with some remakes so when he gets tracks done I will post them up as sadly it seems that Sephirous as removed his YouTube channels.

I guess any and all content of CoA will be posted up on my channel unless Sephirous makes another one.  I don't care either way, just long as we share stuff with people :)

As said before, I'm having nesfan doing some rework to a few tracks before tackling the rest to what Sephirous needs done :)

Google decided to be stupid when it came to double authentication and ruined the channel. Another one is being built and will have stuff added to it. I managed to achieve 1080P recording, so in a way google did me a favor. Now everything can be HD.

The latest trailer is out.

The Catacombs revealed.

The music is incorrect etc but the stage is accurate.

Haven't gotten that far.  Optomon wants to do the new music first before programming in the new bosses :)

Another rework done by nesfan.  There is one more rework done before the new tracks are posted and thankfully Sephirous has his channel back he will be posting up those in the future when they are done :)

Gah,some many interesting choices for a custom boss, this is a challenge!

Hmmm,I'll guess I'll choose the Dogether,I wonder which custom boss will get chosen in the end?

It's like I said before,I don't care how long the game takes, because these custom bosses will be great instead having the same bosses with the same attack pattern and such. :)

I've been bringing light back to another project that I have been packing in my head for awhile now. With Optomon's permission I am now working on a Simon's Quest/The Accursed Seal Reboot where the game play is Linear instead of RPG using "The Holy Relics" engine.

This will be like if Konami released CV2 with the same formula as CV1 with more cool add ons.

Have a look,

I saw it recently & it looks promising & I said before it reminds me abit of Castlevania Quest but I think this mod should have custom bosses updated sprites the works & as an added note it should be called The Accursed Seal. :)

Way ahead of you.

Sinis is already creating The Accursed Seal Title. In fact there is a possibility that there may be a patch for CV2 that changes the title screen to The Accursed Seal for those that don't like Simon's Quest. But for right now, The Linear Version is the main focus.

We got new bosses, All kinds of stuff.

If I am lucky, Just maybe a song from Castlevania Quest in 8 Bit. But that is pushing my luck at the moment with COA on the horizon.
