Yes. I always thought this game was cute (it made it that much more fun) so I wanted to create something that would perhaps highlight that.
The rabbit is the only part of the main character sprites that haven't been changed yet. I didn't plan to have any of the game take place in the Dark World so I wasn't sure how important it would be. I'm still debating this one because there are those little things that you can put in the dungeons that chase you around and turn you into a rabbit if you get caught. It would be fun to do something with that.
As for the overworld, it will be completely rearranged in the end. For now my idea is to reuse many of the original graphics but I do intend to "revamp" a good number of things that I feel can be improved upon like: grass, trees, etc. Most of the graphics changes will be focused on the overworld but I have yet to actually start on that. After I change Zelda's sprites to look the way I want I'll probably take a break from graphics editing so I can focus more on the dungeons for a while.
It's always good to have more people working on Zelda AlltP hacks, as long as those get finished.
I hear that. There are a number of unfinished hacks of this game (understandably) that look very promising yet have been abandoned and will probably never be finished. Lyra Islands is one that I'd like to see completed. In an attempt to keep my workload in check I've decided it would be best to limit the game to one overworld, have 4 large dungeons rather than 11-12 and design things in a way that will prevent (or at least soften the blow of) a number of headaches/nightmares usually associated with doing a "complete" hack of this game. It would probably move a lot faster if I had someone to collaborate with (and didn't have to learn everything as I go) but I'm actually not interested in that for the time being. This is my baby.

Better watch out, Link. Looks dangerous.
Is this a new house design? No. Just a test. I got the electric barrier to work indoors. I wanted to have it in my dungeons to create another use for the Magic Cape. Still got a few kinks to work out but at least I know it is possible now.
