SRW V gets released (with a good translation, at that, I hear, and easy difficulty)...

I don't know about good, but it's certainly perfectly serviceable.  I'd say it's roughly around FF Tactics quality (PSX, that is) - it gets the point across, the text is flavorful, characterization is consistent, but it's simply unpolished.

i asked this before and im sorry to ask again, but does anyone know how the mech stats are stored so i can edit them? i'd like to edit the starting mech stats so they're all relatively powerful, but i can't figure out how the values are stored

It's a phenomenal translation that makes you understand and appreciate the jokes in the original game in a way that makes sense in English!  ;D
No gameplay changes planned, though. I'm not opening the door for that now.

It's in shared.bin. The file on gamefaqs gives you roughly the order of the mechs. Stats for the Units (or Mechs, if you prefer) are stored in a big array of structures. The previous sentence was a hint as to where they are. As for parsing them or changing them, you're on your own. (I don't have time for this right now. If you have time and skills to create an editor, though, let me know - ex: creating the user interface - and I'll think about it.)

Can you put an additional animations on Map Attacks where all the targeted units appear getting damage on a Attack Animations just like in the GBA and DS version? Oh and a faster death animations please

Hello, and thanks a lot for this project, I can't wait for the full release! The demo was amazing.

That said, I encountered a minor bug in the demo. I haven't read through the entire thread, so I don't know if anyone's brought it up yet. If so, then you can ignore my post!

It's in the naming screen at the start. If you touch the default name at all (doesn't matter if you actually change the name or not, it even happens if you just switch to Last First format) all empty spaces register as actual spaces, meaning there will always be long gaps after the name (assuming you don't use the max letter limit, of course.) I was able to circumvent this by starting the game and naming my character in an unpatched game, using roman letters, then loading the game in the patched demo, but I just thought I'd put that out there.

Almost there guys, this was my first SRW game (The original Advance version actually).
I almost don't play video games anymore but i think that I'm gonna play the heck out of this one once you release it.

Pretty nice work you're doing with the translation project.Patch is actually good,can't wait to see the final version.SRW A was one of my 1st games for the GBA and it looks even better on PSP.It's like a dream come true finally being able to play it in English,even though it's only a demo patch for now.
