Metal Sonic Hyperdrive + Classic Trilogy (2014)

Nothing much to say but this is how Sega will do if they added a lock-on feature to Sonic CD and use their heads a bit more. Check them out and tell me what you think.

The concept is quite nice.
Add a character to play as in the original trilogy of Sonic.

Although, I wish that it could be Shadow instead of Metal Sonic.
So far we only have Shadow in Sonic 1, oh god how I wish to play as him in the 3 Sonic Classic games :(

Shadow is quite irrelevant to the classic series, also a overrated Sonic recolor.  ;)

Indeed.
I'd sooner want to see a fully featured Mighty the Armadillo.

As for your work, I love 'em. Great addition to the classic games and very professionally executed.

Shadow can have some neat gameplay features, besides Metal Sonic is a re-sprite of Sonic :P
At least Shadow changes palettes too. XD

I did, but just the first act of zone 1.

@ShadowOne: Like with everything it depends on execution. I'd like to have a cross between Mighty from Chaotix and Sonic Megamix. Wall cling, insta-shield, shield reserve, and shield swap. That would be awesome. And speaking of Megamix, their version of Shadow is pretty good.

Copypasted Player coding, Add Double Jump + Homing Attack = PROFIT.

ANYWAYS, back on topic.
