Generally threads like this are not so welcome as they only really add to clutter.

Still there is no patch that I am aware of.

There have been a couple of different projects (which shared various tools) that have taken it to a fairly high level. More on http://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=16818.0
No ETA on a patch from either of those.

They are not "possibly finished". And there is a way to know for sure.
Is it that hard to do a simple forum search before making this thread?
If you did just that, you'd find a thread discussing just the struggles facing the process and their progress.

And yes oil did release a patch. That crashes after a single scene and battle on a new game.
Or an incomplete menu patch that's in the end just the Japanese version mostly and doesn't really translate much, and nothing at all beyond less than a dozen of items.
So.. NO, Summon Night SS3 DOESN'T have an English version.
Find a Faq/Walkthrough, or learn Japanese.
Learning Japanese has the good side-effect of enjoying games like Tengai Makyou/Sakura Wars/anything on the PSP past 2009 without having to wait for a translation that may not happen at all.
