The newest and 'hopefully' final Mega Man X3 - Fully Playable Zero is ready to go!  The differences from this version and the other aren't visible in some areas, but it's dramatically improved underneath the hood of the game.

For this version expect FAR less bugs, although, there may have been some that slipped by.  Zero's new animations have been greatly altered and he now has a proper victory animation!

The biggest change of all is that this 'SHOULD' be compatible with most anything now compared to the old version.

Hopefully everyone who enjoyed the old version can enjoy the newer one!

This is one of my favorite patches, but I just wish you're able to switch characters during a boss fight ala MMX7:'(.

I've already submitted my youtube video of the Double Saber bug but now I think I'll do a Let's Play of this game when I have the time (gonna be doing Horror games this month for Halloween).

Hi Justin3009, thank you for updating the mod with V3.0 and it's definitely a great work!  Although I have discovered a few bugs with this version after some testing:

1.)  When X obtains the Z-Saber and his Hyper C. is also charged up, switching from the Hyper C. back to the X-Buster would result in X not able to fire up the Z-Saber until either he dies or beats/quits the stage.  This bug appears to be a major show-stopper for the gameplay.
2.)  Zero's second air-dash is only possible to be performed when "Forward + A" are pressed.  Pressing "A" alone without the Forward button can only perform a single air-dash, not double.
3.)  Although this was an intended design, but Zero's double-consumption for his sub-weapon usage isn't ideal.  The sub-weapons are easily emptied while the bosses are still alive.  The game also becomes increasingly difficult if Zero dies during a boss-fight and re-spawns after already emptied his sub-weapons.

The Mega Man X3 - Zero Project(3.0) feels like the complete version of Mega Man X3.

Everything was good so far but please fix Zero's weapon energy consumption. In the last build, his consumption rate was the same as X but now it was double.

That's not a bug, that's been an intended feature for a long, long while.
