I'd then go with "Akuma-kun - The Demon World Trap"
Spoiler:
The player party is from the demon world. My best guess as to the "trap" is because during the first half of the game, you're sent to hunt down a bad guy named Satan. But when you finally do beat him, the real villain appears and tells you Satan was the only one who could stop him.

Yep, I pretty much hacked the crap out of the game to completion, including the password and all menus.
(I think I basically expanded all three-option dialog menus to display vertically) As well as four-line text boxes. Not an easy task. (as I actually had to rig up a control code to switch between single-line and double-line, the latter pretty much just for the magic charms shop)
The only remaining stuff is probably text editing issues, such as giving good enemy names.

There's still some text, especially battle text, that is going to sound wonky and is probably not easily fixable due to how the game loves to store string fragments.

I had an issue with the game freezing a few times when trying to use a spell on the world map, though I didn't get it after trying several times to try to, so I don't know whether it's been fixed or not.

That looks impressive! But since the manga was called Akuma-Kun, my translation would be Akuma-kun: The Demon's Trap.

I agree I had came to Believe the title was Trap Of Hell : Devil Boy reverse of what I had put there and later realized that would have been Akuma-kun: Trap of Hell.

In April of 2014 my house burnt so all my work on the game except what is hosted on here is gone, I recreated my own Title screen hack from Scratch after the fact and that is it I had given up on it entirely, but it looks like I wasn't needed I hadn't even looked at this page, because I was still too sad to think about it. I had already abandoned this before ever having released a patch, so my incomplete work is abandoned and anyone is welcome to use it anyway they see fit.

every thing that has been done here in my absence and is listed on this page is awesome, you guy's made me cry, Thank you all very much.  I can't say any thing else as I can barely see the screen.  :-[

Sorry to hear that about your house. Hope all is well for you now. As I'm sure you are, looking forward to KingMike release and seeing more of the game. I wasn't really able to play very far into.

thank you, is okay, it could been worse but I'm doing well, maybe even better than before because I woke up afterwards with a new attitude.

I very much look forward to KingMike's Release,  I was embarrassed because I am unable to do anything or be of any use. I can't really think too much about what I was working on at the time, and now I am stuck with windows 7 and can't run programs I used to use, so I've moved on to other projects using different tools.

I do hope for the best.

I apologize for the double post + a 2-month bump, but I was actually curious about the status of the project. :) This is definitely one game I'd like to play in English once the patch is out (found the manga/anime to be pretty fun). Was also curious if there's need for any testing/spot translation as far as this one goes.
