Lately I have seen this game, Armello, a video game tabletop point.
At this point, it seems likely it will be founded.
I like the character design. ^^ It also reminds me of Bloody Roar. Must be the bunny. X D

*****UPDATE*****

Ok, strictly speaking, it's not a video game but I believe this deserve to be mentioned.
In any case, I did not expect to see THAT when I went on the website.

*****UPDATE*****

Armello was funded and reached all of its stretch goals.

Some ex Stalker and Metro 2033 devs are apparently working on a spiritual sequel to the Stalker games. They say they've funded a majority of development themselves, but that they are also open to more donations via kickstarter if there is interest. The 26th is supposed to be an "official" announcement of the title. There seems to be some drama from GSC and Vostok Games crying that West Games are crooks, and some fans are put off that most of the kickstarter video is concept art, previous Stalker game footage, and slightly misleading.

I'm hoping for the best, as I love the stalker games and would love to see more

Scrap that one, it seems that the guys kickstarting the project are frauds:

Like I said, I've been following the finger pointing, and as of last night there were no legitimate claims about it being a fake. The Vostok Games thread (on their Survarium forums) where a developer publicly stated they were seeking legal advice has since been deleted as well.

After reading those links, they didn't add anything besides fanning the misinformation and finger pointing. It really sucks as it will make for good click-bait, and if Areal turns out to be a legit project (after browsing lots of SoC early asset wikis, it's pretty obvious lots of hands went in that pie), this could really harm their PR image.

This project, like I said, wasn't intended to be shown until the 26th, but fans had such nice reception to the initial mention of it that it seems West Games decided to go ahead and mention it more publicly before getting their whole show on. At least, that's West Games's slant on things  :police:

EDIT:

So it turns out that Vostok Games have since deleted the thread where a moderator made the claim of fraud, and now distance themselves from that comment. They have also verified that some of the West Games team are indeed previous members of GSC. One person's quick and probably emotional response has lighted a figure that various game sites have taken for click-bait.

Now the project might be in dire straights because of misinformation and sensationalism. This is really sad... and another Stalker fan game called THE SEED is apparently mining through the comments of the kickstarter, bad mouthing the project and trying to goad backers to their game over West Games's project. This has turned out to be a very ugly affair. Hopefully GSC and Vostok Games will own up to the embers they've sparked. I don't know if the hive mind can ever let go of finger pointing and witchhunts, though. Some updates from earlier today:

Quote
Hi guys, I'm re-posting the update here in the comments section.

" We have contacted Vostok Games about their supposed claim that we are fraudulent. They say that they have no relation to that claim and have since deleted the forum topic (https://forum.survarium.com/en/viewtopic.php…) wherein a moderator accused us of being fake. The Kickstarter comments section has been completely hijacked by a couple of people, and even if we comment there, our posts will be ignored and buried. Misery LTD in particular is developing another post apocalyptic video game and is stirring controversy to attract people to his Kickstarter project. I hope that you, our supporters, can see through this deliberate negativity and help us make an awesome game with Areal. Update 2 is coming later today, and will clarify things even further.

We are going to make a video with our team and post it in the updates section tomorrow or late night today/early morning tomorrow if you are in the U.S. Also check out the updates we've already posted. Thanks!

I can't believe it, but...

Night Trap
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1018579240/night-trap-revamped

Oh god I hope this succeeds, but with a lazy effort like that, I'm not optimistic.

The game so nice I bought it twice. I have the OG Sega CD version in the red box.

I love this game, but I could've done a better write-up for free. Hell, HG101 already did.

Not at all. It's a one-man show, it seems. It just got posted over at NA. I'm really impressed with the tiny sprites, like the frogs and snails.

If you are an Earthbound Fan like myself, you gotta check out Fangamer's new Kickstarter:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/fangamer/you-are-now-earthbound

I loved the quality of Fangamer's Mother 3 guide, so I'm pretty psyched about this. Earthbound is my personal favorite game of all time. :)
