By documentation, I'm referring to the algorithms/formulas (damage/healing/magic/etc.). I can tell the enemy stats have been figured out via the hack tool. Thanks in advance.

I did. It was written up years ago though, and there were a that were left up to guesswork.

Well, what can I say, you're free to reverse engineer the game yourself and to make a better doc out of it.

This project is still in active development for RPG Maker.
FF6 SDK - RPG Maker

The developer is very good, he's been studying the data for FF6 for a long time, so if you want to go down this path I highly recommend waiting for this SDK.
Perhaps you can offer your help in developing it?

FF3 is already 2D. But I suppose it'll just be a PC version.
