Could we get an ETA? I'm trying to decide whether I should just start playing it in Japanese and use the online translation guides, or stick it out and wait for the translation patch. If it's gonna be months or years I'd rather just play it in Japanese with a guide tbh.
It really depends on how much time we have available to work on it. I think it's safe to say there's a minimum
of two months of work left. That's assuming both SamIAm and I were working on this full time which we aren't. Probably looking more like the latter half of 2019.
It's certainly up to you if you prefer to wait or not.
What all is left to be done? First release ain't gotta be perfect

Kind of a random question but, is this translation being tested on emulators or the actual system on a TV? Curious if a font that thin can be read easily on a TV, especially since the Saturn was designed for a SD CRT.
Most of my debugging and testing is done via Yabause. I do test on real hardware every so often using a real TV though not a CRT(I don't own one anymore). The original japanese font was 12x12 and just as thin. This is basically a variable-width(up to 12 pixels in height) font.
