I decided to translate the original MSX2 version of Metal Gear into a full-fledged English with all 155 messages translated. Not too literal, not too fancy...decided to go old-school of what the European version of Metal Gear should've been...

My project began in 2013, but the Rom Expander Pro crashes the game after I finish my translation project, and have to rework on my English script. Back in late September 2019, I finally translated the game, and tested the translated ROM on the BlueMSX emulator.
Also tested the Dynamic VSync hack of MG1 after applying the patch to my translated MG1 ROM.
