Little japanese translation please.
« on: December 03, 2011, 07:29:24 am »
I found this by accident:

What those cheats do and where/when to input them??

And while I am already here, how you translate this:
1) エクスカリパー
2) 王者の剣
3) 究極幻想
4) かすみ草
5) 破壊のつるぎ
6) 心ない天使

Thanks

Doesn't say where you input them.

But the codes are:

Left, Y, Up, R, Left, X
Y, X, Down, B, R, A
R, A, R, Right, X, Up
A, L, B, A, Down, R
B, Up, L, X, Y, Right

1) エクスカリパー Excalibur
2) 王者の剣 Sword of Kings
3) 究極幻想 Ultimate Illusion
4) かすみ草 Mist Grass
5) 破壊のつるぎSword of Destruction
6) 心ない天使 The Thoughtless Angel

#5 is Heartless Angel. It's not just the literal translation; it's what it's called in the games. Both Kefka and Sephiroth use it; it reduces your entire party's HP to 1.

Thanks to both of you.
Any hint on what the codes are good for??
This is the a page before the one i posted above:

I understand that the left part that will give the "romantic phrases" but what about the 5 people on the right site??
It's almost looking like the codes are for another game other than シドとチョコボの不思議なダンジョン 時忘れの迷宮 DS+ but if it's so, what are they doing in that site?? O.o

Thanks

The orange says "Chocobo to Mahou to Ehon" or Chocobo's Magic Picture Book, which I think is the Japanese name for Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales.

It is. That's actually the Japan-only sequel, though.

Searching around, I found out what is the matter with those codes...they are actually for the sequel of Chocobo Tales and have nothing to do with Cid to chocobo.

Anyway, I missed some words:
a)光の楽園 (garden of light?? / easing light from paradise??)
b)種まき (planting?? / wood spieces??)
c)夢想花 (dream flower??)
All 3 should be Chocobo/Final Fantasy related attacks.

And last:

Thanks

a) 光の楽園 = Paradise of Light.
b) 種まき = Wild Oats.
c) 夢想花 = Dream Flower.
d) とりもどした記憶 = Regained Memories.

Umm, I was thinking to translate it in  "Cataclysm" but that is 天変地異.

I just found this:

It's translated in "World Destroyer"...is it correct??

It's "Cleansing." No, that's not what it translates as, but it's what both FFVA (where it's one of the Oracle's spells) and FFVIA (where it's Crusader's attack) call it.
