Ninokuni translation (spanish-english)
« on: October 15, 2011, 12:40:38 pm »
Hi all, I stand you. I'm Jefelin and  immersed in the project of translating into Spanish Ninokuni Ds.
Also help to tell you to launch an English version.
I have translated 95% of the videos.
And I'm working on the menus.
I have all the necessary tools ^_^
Currently, I'm the only one that translates into my computer, so I need some help with the Japanese. I am not asking anyone to translate for me just if someone could help me out with words I don´t knew translate.
I know this forum very professional people that know much Japanese, so I want to know if I ayudaríais to resolve my doubts, this game deserves to be enjoyed by all.

PD: Level-5 only release the PS3 version, save you from commenting on the Ds, it will not come for several reasons.
PD: Sorry for my english.

I'm confused. Are you translating the Japanese into Spanish, and then into English?

I am fed up with this issue.
I have not stolen any translation, only used the subtitles of a video on youtube had to make a video in English test, nothing more.

And yes, I am translating the entire game from Japanese to Spanish to the English version will help me a friend.
Also do not know why people say they stole anything, if the game has not been translated by anyone.
Well if I ask for help is because there is no translation.
I repeat, THERE IS NO TRANSLATION

PD: Auryn I owe you money?
You pay attention to what I write, even if only for once.

I am the project, and he only used that video as example or test...
I don't understand the "steal"... Then you can't use other translations in youtube, but if he want use the translation
in youtube, he would put the credits of that user's youtube, but the user hasn't uploaded all videos...
He only wants helping that knows japanese, then, I have seen that he translated 90% the videos, plus, the english translation
youtube is BAD. It is best trasnlate directly.

I say again, that he used that video as example... I don't see the "robe"... I am in that project, I will be that translate Spanish-English...
And we will give the tools to other people to do French translation, dustch translation and more languages...
I now translating Okamiden, FF four heroes and more, if something wants the tools of Okamiden I will give and Four heroes
there tools made by CUE.

In my opinion, comments as "robe" or the PS3 Version that will release in USA but DS not... makes that this project doesn't have
sense...

See you

Jefelin, you do realize translating only the game isn't enough, right? I mean, there's also the book that comes with the package, and that is vital to your game progress, unlike with the PS3 version. If you don't translate that as well, the entire project is not worth the effort.

The book does not pose a big problem, and I can tell you that I managed to complete the game in Japanese.
There are a number of guides on the internet, without going any further, I have a guide spells that helped me complete the game.
For other things, the book only serves to help, information and a collector's item, nothing more.
Anyway I read that the book will be included in the PS3 game, and also edited a few on paper.
So as I say, for that part no problem.

Most people don't bother using guides because it feels like cheating. Honestly, I'd rather not check guides myself either.

I understand, but in part the spell book is a guide, since without it you can`t complete the game.

I could make a guide spells, spells only needed to move forward ^_^

Hm, no. The difference between a game guide/FAQ and this book is that in the FAQ's case you can keep going forward in any case, it all depends on you. With the book, on the other hand, you're forced to check it in order to progress any further.

Honestly, this sounds like a very poor and half-assed solution. The book is part of the game, that's what makes it unique in its very own way. Getting only a rather small section of it is like butchering half of the game itself.

The book is basically the Star Tropics code and Metal Gear Solid radio frequency thingy (and old school copy protections) taken to another level. Although substitutes are possible, not including it kinda takes a bit away from the experience the game itself tries to deliver.

Just my last comment on the steal topic: use something somebody made (even if youtube) without asking, is steal.
Who can garantie that when everything is done you really give the credits to the right persons??
This is why nobody important want help you out in gbatemp.

@Gemini: I don't know what is written in that book but I know you need exactly 52 sign to progress in the game.
A note to those signs, can't really be seen as "cheat". I don't believe that who has the original, is walking around with the whole book either.

Buy the game and see for yourself what I mean, then. Most of the people wanting a translation of this don't even own the game.

Aren't the DS and PS3 games supposed to be different but related?

@DarknessSavior:
They did have variations in the argument, not a major but has, and are related.

@Auryn:
For the umpteenth time I will Auryn I repeat, I will not do it anymore.
I have not stolen any translation, and you know why? because there is no translation done, so this is impossible, perhaps at the end is me who robbed me.
If you find any let me know Spanish translation ;)
