I am about ready to come out with a teaser for Bloody Warriors. A lot of stuff has been expanded with tiny asm hacks.
There is an intro that I need translated. If anyone has the time, could someone translate this?

I'm not 100% about two things, and I leave a warning.

1) ぼうてい. I cannot figure out what this means. It looks like it involves the kanji 帝.

2) The names. You should choose their spellings on your own. They're terrible.

The powerful country of heretics, Skanva, started
a campaign called "Hell's Crusaders" to recover
certain sacred lands, calling it a "holy war".

えんせいぐんは　せいちアンガル
せんりょうにせいこうし、そのけっか、
えんせいぐん　しれいかん　ぼうてい
カルワリオの　こうりょうこっかが
けんせつされた。
Skanva's forces were successful in occupying the
scared land known as "Angar". As a result of that
Kalwario, the commander of the Skavanian forces,
had established his own bleak, desolate country.

しかし、ぼうていカルワリオのもくてきは
りょうしゅになることでも　ぶくんをたてる
ことでもなかった。　かれの　もくてきとは、
でんせつの　８つのせいせきをさがしだし、
［むてきのちから］をていにいれ、せかいの
おうとして　くんりんすることにあったのだ。
However, Kalwario's ideals were not simply that of becoming
lord over the land, or to be a distinguished military commander.
Kalwario wanted to discover the Legendary Eight Scared Stones,
use them to gain unrivaled strength, and rule over the world
as it's king.

ぼうていカルワリオは　せいせきを
さがしだすために、　むほうのかぎりを
つくしていた。
だが、　ここに　はんヘルクルセーダーズの
えいゆう　しししんおうナラシンハが
あらわれたのだ。
In order to find the Sacred Stones, Kalwario spared no
expenses and broke all limits.
However, here, halfway through the Hell's Crusaders campagin,
the lion-hearted hero Narshinha has appeared.

Yeah, I recently picked up this project again after I found out that the game had a built in MTE with pointers. With the latest Nes debugger and tracer, I've been able to fit in a lot more text into the ingame menus. I cut out some useless
dialog to make room for expanded items. With the empty space left over, I will have room for bigger and more MTE entries.

I've played this one through before on the Famicom, awesome unique game.

Narsimha is in fact correct, (I wrote it in an abbreviated fashion.)

Since the legions are called "Hell Crusaders" I would call their commander "Kalvary. instead of Kalwario.

Later in the game there is a snake headed entity called Illuyanka from Hittite Mythology in the town of Jamvat.

Yes, yes I did. I'm having a hard time dealing with the intensity with school, keeping up on the news about the earthquakes/power plant stuff, and dealing with family going "GET HOME NOW!". So everything I do recently is at least a -little- screwy. >_>;;

NOTES: I also had trouble with the word ぼうてい. I settled on 防帝, which would mean "protector of the emporer", but I think it might also be 望帝, which would mean "one who aspires to be emporer/king". It's possible that it's being used as a title of praise, similar to "-- the Lionhearted" or "-- the Brave". At any rate, you'll need to use some creativity here.

ps. I would go with lion-hearted as Narsinh defeats a white spirit lion in Kurgala cave on the first quest that gives him strength and ability to advance to other sections of the game, like Death Valley Oz.

You could call him Emperor but Commander would be more like it since Kalvary is a ruthless war chief.

Heretics could also be infidels or barbarians considering the context.
