Thanks to rainponcho for the compression tools and FlashPV for his excellent design.

After seeing enough FlashPV graphics and title screens, I'm still overly amused by the artistic flair. So many different flavors and somehow doesn't get mildly boring yet.

I'm very happy to be able to post on this thread! Here's my first edit of my favorite game's title screen, huge thanks to Krishty whose tools made this possible!

These are really good. At least you guys made progress. I'm still stuck on a personal retranslation project of mine, Sailor Moon R SNES. No matter what I do when using the hex workshop neo alongside the rom to try to change the text, the game crashes when I try to test it out! But other than needing help, I'm just glad others are doing better than I am.

Thank you for the feedback guys, very much appreciated. Reception has been mixed on my YouTube upload, currently at 4 likes vs 3 dislikes, but we do what we can under the circumstances. In this case I was forced to use every pixel the textures for the logos had left, and even then I had move stuff closer together.

I forgot to post the original for reference: http://www.romhacking.net/?page=translations&action=images&id=2307&imageid=title

These aren't much just something I did in a short time, I am going release them in a new Abandon Pack I'm working on.

for Youkai Douchuuki I wanted to do this for awhile but finally just did it while I was bored. Is hard to tell but it reads Mario I secretly call the game "Mario 25" anyway.

Then I was planning to Hack Ultima : Exodus for Nes and came up with this

I have some other stuff but would fall out side this topic. Any Criticism's are fine.

At least if you hack Ultima Exodus into Dragon Quest X, it would have better graphics than what I hear of the "3DS version". :D

I'm revisiting Roll-chan 6 to fix the US version title screen. I managed to insert the JP logo, but the cursor is a bit lower positioned in the US version. Anyone know how to change the cursor's position?

I really like the shimmering effect and the ripples on the soup. It seems like the red and white should be inverted on the Mushroom Soup text though. It looks mostly red with white spots, whereas Toad's hat is mostly white with red spots.

Is it a BG tile or a sprite?

If it's a BG tile, use the Debugger to trace how it's written to the tilemap. (write breakpoint for the Nametable position, then work back from there)
If it's a sprite, trace the write to the sprite table. (check RAM $0200-07FF to see which is used for the sprite table, then it should be easy to find which sprite is the cursor by moving up and down, then trace that RAM address)

Isn't that a Prince of Persia game though? :p

This was done by FlashPV a few years back. Does anyone find the italics a bit much or does it look ok?

The italics are OK, but probably needs the black sides/shadows like the original

I'm not so sure about the SD GUNDAM ADVENTURES sub-title. Should translate to SD GUNDAM SPIN-OFF. And it should look like the original, pink and stony.

I've actually got a revision by FlashPV that I really like, but some attribute table hacking needs to be done before it's finalized. I'll post it once it's done. SD Gundam Adventures is a title aishsha and I decided on what to translate Gaiden as. It's a bit of a localization, but I thought it sounded better than Gaiden or Side Story.
