I should've been more specific. I like the design of the US title screen and I think I want something in that vein. Perhaps you can make the outline in the shape of the eagle.

By the way for "erica & stan" the "s" sound weird to me, but good work dude!

Edit: Streemerz, a bionic's sequel (if thefox and Mr.Podukian are agree we will have a french version

I agree with Flash. You sounded way too vague. An eagle on the BC logo?
(just an idea. I'm no real graphics artist myself.)

Seconded, but I have to admit that the titlescreen that FlashPV showed in the preceding post looks pretty tight.

I'll go with the second too. The first title screen is more original but I found the overall look too "heavy".

Yeah, you really knocked it out of the park on the second one, it's just a bit of a shame that the "Top Secret" part of the title couldn't be preserved somehow.

I'm not interested in preserving Top Secret hence its lack of appearance. Bionic Commando and Top Secret appear to be the same game aside from some censorship and the usual limitations. Really no reason to include it, it has no place in my translation.

Yeah, I got that you were going for more of a localization, I'm just a bit of a purist is all. I cringed when they brought Gunnm over here and retitled it "Battle Angel Alita." Different strokes for different folks, no disrespect meant.

To chime in, I support the choice of return over resurrection. As one said, "return" is ambiguous and creates suspense, "hitler return? How? Survival? Cover-up? Resurrection?." The exact same situation occurred in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.

As for the title screen, the first attempt with three different fonts was simply confusing, cluttered, and amateurish. The second is a significant improvement. However, I feel the blue box around the subtitle is cluttered and garish. Actually, i think it looks pretty bad in the japanese one too. I would suggest giving it some room to breathe, maybe even drop the blue box altogether and going for like a militant, official-looking stencil font straight on the black background.

As for the localization vs. translation debate, when done poorly, both suck. But when done well, I much prefer a localization. Always the choice of the translator, certainly, but just my opinion as the player.

Anyways, looks good so far. Keep it up.

I still need to make changes to the text at the bottom. Haven't decided what will go there yet.
