The correct translation is ATTENTION HEROES! MY HAIR IS CHALLENGING YOU.

I take back all of my above comments, use this instead.

Or "A Challenge to Heroes". It's Yuusha he no Chousen.

Feeling the urge to come back on this since italics were used at me.
Though "A Challenge to Heroes" is correct as a literal translation, it's hardly gripping as a title in English and it kind of sounds like it's a "challenge to heroes" in the sense that "heroes find this difficult".

tl;dr: You can argue about anything on the Internet. :V

Hey, I translated Lady Stalker. >:(

A quality product, I'm sure.

It has one of the most awesome fonts in the history of ROM hacking. And I say that with 0 sarcasm.

Looks like the Groenig font they used for the Simpsons games.

Way to go, guys!

Interestingly enough, macrons (those symbols over the vowels) are generally considered the *most* proper way to romanize Japanese in a formal setting. They're by no means the only way, but you tend to see them far more often once you get rolling on novels, manuals, etc. Besides, using macrons saves on string length :P I love the things. They're clean, simple, and take up less space. I wouldn't mind seeing them in more game translations, actually.

Strictly speaking, they are the correct way to represent long vowels in Revised Hepburn romanisation, which I believe is most common. The native Japanese standards are similar, in that using a circumflex is the standard.

Then there's crazy shit like romanisation variations used for road signs and passports.

(おう would be "oo" in Modified Hepburn, which is a more recent revision that no one uses except for smelly academics because "oo" looks dumb.)

Wow, this looks very impressive so far! I think I might keep an eye on this one.

Won't somebody please think of the children and correct the misspellings in the title and article? It's Tsukihime, not Tsukime.

Just a note on the map issue, the changelog for the 5/27 WIP build of ZSNES claims to have fixed it (haven't tried it myself though).

Works smashingly.

Anyway I played through for a while  and I think I like what I see.  I don't usually do teasers because it only makes me wait.

Thanks.
Well, look at this way: you're going to be waiting anyway. :D

It's a bit of a late response, but I really enjoyed the game as well and hope the translation will steadily progress. The teaser part was a bit easy but the nice story makes up for that. Graphics and music are also decent, but I can't get used to the battle system interface. :-/

Thanks, glad you like it. I can't promise speedy translation progress at the moment due to having a dissertation looming in the background, but it'll get done in the end.

Nice ^^ I liked it...never saw any anime like that :( I was just kinda shocked when the translated text was over...I was really into the game ^^ Hope you progress fast :)

Apparently, there actually is a Filena anime and a set of books. Not sure which came first, though. Anyway, I think there were some people interested in subbing the anime, but as it only comes on hard-to-come-by VHS and Laserdiscs, I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

Anyway, glad you like it, and thanks for the support.

Not bad...
The graphics's seem just OK, but the over-all Architecture in-game is nice,
and the music is OK ......... for the moment
I really look forward to the Next Teaser Patch
and the Official Full release

The Story line looks like a good one :)

Glad you liked it. I can't really say when or if I'll be producing another patch before a full release, depends how things go.
I'm pretty sure i'll be a while before the next patch though, at any rate.

music is OK
music is OK
music is OK

That said, which emulator gives the least problems with EB?

To be honest, I just use the latest ZSNES WIPs. Although it can't display the map screen properly, it at least displays the name of the location you're going to. Rather than using a traditional map that you walk around and fight enemies on, it's more of a location select screen, so it doesn't matter too much that you can't see it. You really spend very little time on the maps.

BTW. Satsu, is there bandwidth enough on yuudachi for a manual scan or would you prefer I find some hosting offsite for that?

No problems there. We have space and bandwidth like a mofo.

Edit: BTW, I picked up some Sobranie Black Russians the other day. You didn't tell me the filters are gold! D:

horray!!!!
it seems that i ve got another reason to use my zsnes! i abandoned it for so long...

You'll be pleased to know that the game isn't entirely compatible with ZSNES, then. It can't display the map screen properly. :)
