Could just try using psxfin even though it's dead and outdated?

However judging by your complaints XEBRA/ARBEX is the first thing to try.

the quote is literally from the readme hosted on the site

basically this person used a bunch of ASM hacks and whatnot from several FFHacktics users without permission

and did a bunch of multi-account sockpuppeting to promote the hack on reddit/FFHacktics

also from the page: "Special thanks to: melonhead for all he did (a truly master hacker, not like some others)."

in 2.0 (August 26):
-Fixed enemies using player inventory.
-Even though we use modified versions of all asm hacks, many small hacks were removed.
All of FFT Complete patch is also removed. This patch will be discontinued (no more
public releases, so don't bother to check for updates, thanks to the worst modder of the

do you really want to play a patch that's never getting updated because the author is a thief and a big baby

Finally picked up Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass. Been having a lot of fun with it.

please don't use zsnes

I normally don't like posting in this thread but I have insomnia.

Has anyone attempted to poke at DQ 3 SNES enough to figure out how hard it would be to update the translation/naming conventions to more modern DQ fare? Not even saying make it pun city like they like to do, but it's been 10 years since the fan translation came out I believe and apparently they were still stuck in a Tales of Phantasia SNES mindset (fucks like a tiger etc etc) when an NPC in the sleeping town literally says "i could have been raped!".

also obligatory annual mention of Wild Arms 2 needing a script and font facelift

I personally liked the mod but whatever

Gaming Discussion / Re: Good PS4 Games to pick up early on?
« on: July 18, 2019, 10:55:09 pm »
October/December are coming up so I should probably have some disposable income for PS4 games again unless I end up needing to replace my 2DS. Looking for suggestions of disc games (digital games that are too big are no-gos due to ISP data cap) that are 20-30 dollars. I currently have Yakuza 0 which is mine and (borrowed) access to .hack GU Last Recode, Dragon Quest Heroes II, Nier Automata, and fairly soon Dragon Quest XI.

Also was wondering the most efficient/cheapest way to get PS4 GOTY Dragon Age Inquisition as well as how extensive SoulCalibur VI's single player content is.

EDIT (7-31-2019): This thread is now for general PS4 recommendations for other people, DQ11 made my already ailing ps4 overheat from playing it too much in a row.
